Like a fine piece of artwork, our customers have to wait for their Vault cabinets to be constructed by our artisans before becoming the contented owner of one. Mass production is simply not capable of making a product of this quality and stature. Each Vault cabinet is assembled completely by hand from start to finish by craftsmen who take great pride in building this elite product. As a result of this extravagant manufacturing, only a limited number of cabinets can be built everyday.
Manufacturing and shipping time varies dependent upon the customization of your order; however, typically speaking our lead times average 6 to 8 weeks on our Professional Series and 4 to 6 weeks on our Designer Series line of cabinetry. What counts is quality, not speed. Other companies may cut corners to pump out an inferior product faster, but at Vault we will not sacrifice quality.
Lead times can vary depending upon the time of year, the level of customization, and which product is selected.
All Vault cabinets are delivered pre-assembled and simply need to be positioned in place within the desired location of your garage. No assembly is required.
Set-up service is available from Vault through our White Glove delivery services, which are described in detail below.
Extraordinary quality-control measures ensure a high level of care that Vault customers can expect throughout the logistics process. Your custom cabinets will leave our production facility shipped in specially designed wooden crates that utilize state-of-the-art technology to monitor that your shipment has been carefully handled, giving you peace of mind that your cabinets have been transported safely to your home.
Once shipped, it will take 2-3 weeks for your cabinetry to be delivered. Upon arrival into your local market, a delivery agent will contact you - at least 24 hours in advance – to schedule a delivery appointment within a 4-hour window between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM during the work week (Monday through Friday). If you require a more specific time or Saturday delivery (not available everywhere), additional charges may apply. There are no deliveries on Sunday or holidays.
Vault Offers Two Levels of Freight Service:
a. Standard - This service schedules a delivery appointment with you, delivers the item(s) inside your garage and inspects the cabinets. Cabinets are not unpacked from their shipping container(s).
b. White Glove – This service is an upgrade from our Standard service in that the following tasks are performed in addition to the delivery of your Vault cabinet(s):
• Unpack Vault cabinets from their shipping container and inspect them;
• Position your cabinets within the desired location of your garage;
• Level each Vault cabinet to adjust for the uneven floors and adjust the doors; and
• Discard all of the packing materials.
NOTE: Additional delivery fees may be required if additional resources are required to safely perform delivery services to your residence. Extraordinary delivery conditions – such as stairs, distance from truck to garage that are greater than 100 feet, severe inclines or difficult access – may require additional delivery fees.
Homeowners are responsible for ensuring that sufficient access exists for all products to reach their final destination within your garage. Removal of vehicles and other items are the responsibility of the homeowner.
We strive to operate our company on an ecologically sustainable path that has the lowest impact upon the environment. To that end, we set out to design a line of furnishings and storage systems that are good for society and for the environment. The culmination of our efforts is the first furnishings manufactured for the garage that have been designed consciously with the environment in mind.
Made with certified products, recycled metals and environmentally friendly-finishes, here is an overview of some of the environmental features of Vault cabinets:
- The stainless steel and steel used in the construction of Vault cabinets is derived from recycled resources. Our stainless steel is made up of approximately 60% recycled content and may be recycled again into a new product at the end of its useful life (should you outlive your Vault cabinets).
- Our worktop is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and water-based, formaldehyde-free resins.
- Unlike traditional wet paints, our powder coating finish contains no solvents, emits no VOC or other hazardous air pollutants and requires no hazardous cleanup. Additional benefits of our powder coating process include:
- It consumes 50% less energy (on average) than conventional painting techniques;
- It results in a more durable and long-lasting finish;
- Any overspray from our powder coating process can be reclaimed and reused.
Many of our competitor’s regularly outsource manufacturing to companies based where there are less restrictive environmental regulations in order to capture greater profit advantages from their sales. At Vault, we design, manufacturer and assemble all of our products within in the United States.
All Vault products are designed, manufactured and assembled here in the United States. Each Vault cabinet is built in Indianapolis, Indiana using state-of-the-art technology and hand craftsmanship certified to ISO 9001 quality standards.
Stainless Steel Surfaces - Clean with mild soap and water applied with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe the surface dry with a soft cloth. Use stainless steel cleaner to remove fingerprints and hard to remove smudges. To avoid damaging the finish, do not use abrasive cleaners or strong liquid cleaners on stainless surfaces.

Due to the extra development involved, lead times on custom-designed pieces are generally 2 to 4 weeks longer than standard pieces, after the client confirms approval of the custom color swatch.
